WSCC Titles

Championship Requirements

The White Shepherd Club of Canada (" WSCC") Championship was established in June 1993 and modified in August of 2000.

In order for a dog to be recognized as WSCC Champion a dog must earn the following:

1.

At least 15 championship points under at least three different judges at not less than three different shows;

2.

One of these shows must be majors (4 or 5 points); and

3.

One win must occur when the dog is at least one year of age.

Obedience Progeny Requirements

An OP following the name of a White Shepherd Dog indicates that said dog has received the WSCC's Obedience Progeny.

The Obedience Progeny was established in June 1993. Modified January 2005.

Requirement for Males:

1.

Proof of hip and elbow certification;

2.

Produced 5 or more progeny earning a total of 75 points;

3.

3 of these progeny must have advance titles in Obedience, Herding, Tracking, Agility, Flyball or certified service dogs or their own OP ei.

CDX, TDX;

4.

3 of these progeny must have proof of both hip and elbow certification; and

5.

If the dog does not reside in Canada, he must have at least one offspring with a Canadian Title.

Requirements for Females:

Excellence of Progeny Requirements

An XP following the name of a White Shepherd Dog indicates that said dog has received the WSCC's Excellence of Progeny. The Excellence of Progeny was established in June 1993 and modified in January of 2005. Requirement for Males: 1. Proof of hip and elbow certification; 2. Produced 7 or more progeny earning a total of 200 points; 3. 4 of these progeny must has WSCC Championship, CKC Championship or their own XP; and 4. 4 of these progeny must have proof of both hip and elbow certification. Requirements for Females: 1. Proof of hip and elbow certification; 2. Produced 7 or more progeny earning a total of 200 points; 3. 4 of these progeny must has WSCC Championship, CKC Championship or their own XP; and 4. 3 of these progeny must have proof of both hip and elbow certification.

Excellence and Obedience Progeny

An XOP following the name of a White Shepherd Dog indicates that said dog has received the WSCC's Excellence of Progeny and Obedience Progeny. The Excellence of Progeny and Obedience Progeny was established in June 1993.
